This is my second London photo of the gherkin building, officially known as 30 St Mary Axe. It’s a staggering building in the city, typical Lord Foster and according to wikipedia symbolises the start of the high rise boom in London architecture. It’s 180m tall and has 40 stories. It’s a great building to photograph in London. I think I’ll have to go back and take some more photos, possibly at night.
